Service providers are the primary audience for this virtual lunch & learn, but it may also be of interest to people seeking help for themselves or their loved ones. While sexual orientation and gender expression change efforts (SOCIECE) are now illegal across Canada, these practices remain a significant risk to the health and well-being of people in 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. New national resources are being developed to aid clinicians in supporting survivors' recovery from the harms of these practices.
